Join us for an evening of insightful conversation at Tethered on Monday, May 20th from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. ☕🍰
What is a Death Cafe?
It is an event where people gather to eat cake, drink tea/coffee, and talk about death. Our aim is to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their (finite) lives.
Connect: Forge meaningful connections with others who share your curiosity.
Reflect: Engage in thought-provoking discussions that can lead to personal growth.
Normalize: Help break down the stigma around talking openly about mortality and end-of-life.
Celebrate Life: Embrace the idea that discussing death can enhance our appreciation for life.
There is no charge to attend, but registration is required to ensure seating.
Tethered is the host of this event. Refreshments will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own beverages/snacks.
Please note that Death Cafes are not grief support groups. Some of the topics may be triggering to those who have recently experienced the loss of a loved one. However, grief is always a possible and welcome topic.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
